Technical question - non-bike - USB port replicator question?
...am using a 7-port POWERED port replicator, WITHOUT the power adaptor plugged in...
it powers up my Samsung cellphone in ALL 7 ports...
Using an iPAD to stream music at our store, and the following is the problem:
with iPAD usb charging cable plugged into 7-port replicator, nothing happens, it does not charge...
with iPAD usb charging cable plugged into computers OWN usb chargin port, i get the 'not supported/not charging' message...
(I THINK the computer USB port is 3.0 - and ist says 'ss', if that means anything?!
Would the iPAD have noticeably different power draw than a modern cellphone - the iPAD is Version 1, so over 10 years old...!
