Some seriaas swimming/dog paddle action for few seconds trying to get onto dry land again!  Respect for being brave enough to post the video, i would have killed the camera man immediately and destroyed all evidence of it ever happening!

The video doesnot show it, but that water was seriously deep just to the side of the rocks. I remember feeling very "heavy" with all my gear filling up water, hence the furious doggy paddle till I had felt the rocks under my hands.

As far as the cameraman is concernerd, the video went viral at my office the next monday, and the directors used it for the opening at their yearly bos-parade!!! :eek7: :laughing4: :laughing4:

So no point trying to hide it. :laughing4:

When I need I laugh, I dig this out of my files and watch it again just to remind me not to be so serious :thumleft:

Edit: I am actually surprised it is not on youtube

Wildside finding that all it takes is a little encouragement at the water crossings.

Baviaans December 2011 on a hot day. This was the planned pic when a buddy of mine was there to take the shot. We went floating in the river a moment later just trying to cool down. 2 river crossings later I came around a corner and a rise at about 100 and was just able to slow down enough when a huge wave of water totally drenched me and the XR.
100 - 5 in 2 seconds. XR's are made rivers....

I recently took my newly aquired GS Adventure to a remote river and learnt that they are just fine big dirt bikes! A "hole" in the first crossing nearly had me calling for a chopper.
