RIP - Lourens Hoffmann
« on: April 16, 2018, 05:01:21 pm »
A father, a husband, a fellow biker brother, died on Sunday in Camps Bay. Not a WD but followed us here.

Guys .... again ... be aware of the unexpected actions of that car two ahead of you.

1978. It's 6am, mid winter...two up on a XL 185S ... off to my first casino ever with all of R40 and we've got a full tank of fuel, so enough to get there we reckon.... that's determination...

Old bike: '82 Eddie Lawson Replica
Other bike: '05 Honda Varadero 1000
New bike: '16 Honda Africa Twin.

Thanks Guys, as close to a Brother-in-law as ever from a sister I never had. In this life some of us may be fortunate enough to have a good mate close by we can call at all times, day or night for anything, he was that mate in CT.

Sorry for your loss bud. RIP
There's a race of men that don't fit in, A race that can't stay still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will.
They range the field and they rove the flood, And they climb the mountain's crest; Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood, And they don't know how to rest.                                                   Robert Service
