Spot lights stays on after engine switched off

BMW R1200GS HP2
So I fitted  my spots on 1200 GS LC.
Wired it to the auxiliary plug. Looks great.
Problem is, it stays on for a few minutes after I switch the engine off.
Is it good or bad?
