I am sure most of you are aware of this , but do your selves a favour and pull your plug coils to check for water and corrosion.

Pulled mine 6000km ago , cleaned them , greased them to try and prevent rust and packed grease around the top seal to try and prevent water ingress.

This last week the Sten started acting up . idling rough. not pulling smoothly at low revs. etc.

Yesterday I pulled the coils again to find nr 1 coil full of water!  The grease seemed to help prevent too much corrosion but the coil was sopping wet.
Cleaned it up , , dried it all out and swopped nr 1 with nr 4 .
Bike pulls like it should again. So i dodged the bullet with having to replace the coil for now.
