heavy fuel consumption GS Rally vs Std GS
« on: May 17, 2018, 06:29:13 am »
Hi,

Has anyone else noticed if their Rallye has a heavy  fuel consumption?

I rode down to the GS trophy and was putting in about a litre more than others riding Standard GS even some Adv

And suggestions on how to fix as the settings are set at the factory and cannot be changed or so i have been told

Very similar to my previous LC.

Riding style is also a contributor. It may seem like youíre riding the same speed etc, but gear changes, braking etc arenít exactly the same as that of your friends.

going down it was a group of 14 riders so lot of pack riding and cruise control

And my riding buddy has GS and we ride the same he also commented on the extra litre when filling up

was not a problem with my last GS ADV and i got better consumption on that

Was your buddy also using the cruise control?

Cruise control uses more fuel then manual control

I had a 2016 Trophy before and now a Rallye and there fuel consumption were the same. I actually think the Rallye(now @ 17000km) is loosening up as the consumption seeme to be getting better or maybe because I did my last trip with 2x 660Z's and wasn't quite riding as fast as usual :peepwall:
