Cape Town: replacement front brake reservoir unit?

Front brake reservoir lower tab broke off... this is the tab that locates the lower of the pivot bolt for the brake lever. It broke because the bolt snapped and it was disproportionately stressed.

I'm not clued up on different kinds of fusion/bonding. .. have been recommended conventional welding, silver solder with epoxy to reinforce etc. ...

Suggestions on best approach?
Recommend me a welder?
