Hopefully someone can shed some light.
Went on my first "longish" ride this weekend and there were some very nice stretches of road where i gave the big girl some mielies. All fine and well until you crept into 200kph + territory and then a weave would develop. Cant power through it as it would get worse I didnt have the plums to to try go further. Back off the accelerator,relax the grip on the bars and she would regain her composer as the speed dipped back below the 190,s and into the 180,s.
Now the only thing I can find on the net is that the Metzler Tourance Next tyres that are fitted appear to be the culprit? Can anybody shed some light for me? I hardly ever ride that fast in any case. Maybe high 160,s when cruising long distance. At that speed she is rock solid.
Just to clarify its not a "wobble" its a weave and I was also a little annoyed as I thought the Explorer would run away from the BMW LC which it didn't
