Looking for opinions from everyone to help me make up my mind.

I had a big incident last Sunday from which I was lucky and blessed to walk away from alive with a few injuries. The bike died at the scene. It took place on tar on a national road, and involved an oncoming vehicle, there was nothing I did or did not do that could have averted this.

The thought now occurring to me is that the risk is no longer worth the reward, and that I should stick to enduros and stay off public roads, be it tar or gravel, permanently.

Has anyone decided to either give up or continue riding after a big incident, and what made you come to the conclusion?

I would like to see if I am thinking clearly here or just being overly emotional.
