For many years we visited Ponta , but going with a big bike was not an option , The Chinese has now built a nice tar road all the way from Maputo to Ponta . and we decided its time to go visit by bike . I have booked a pitstop in Piet Retief , will ride there on Wednesday afternoon ,sleep over and do the 380 odd ks to Ponta on Thursday morning .Hope to arrive in POnta aroun 10.30-11 o clock . spend a couple of days and ride back on Sunday . 700 odd KS back , sore but ride but doable
