I decided it would be safer to go down to Elandsvlei and take the back 2 spoor past Die Mond.
The road was stunning.not that muddy. No Dust ! Lol
Took a turn into Die Mond to show Akan and Paul what a stunning Place it is to Camp or Chalette.
Paul took a tumble in some thick red mud

So we headed back up the road rode down a very wet road.and back onto the R355.
Sadly .we got to Padstal.i forgot its closed on Mondays

So up the hill to Katbakkies Pass.
Now the fun started

Thanks Andy and Alan for a brilliant few days riding. Every time I think I have seen it all, Andy finds a new road to take us down. Katbakkies is my favorite pass and it did not disappoint in the snow. When we arrived the snow was so fresh and thick, but once a car went through it was fine as long as you stayed in the spoer.

Thanks boet, all OK, no damage to bike. Ridding on wet clay with worn  Eo7 front tire was interesting. Saved it twice before going down, was exhausted after picking the bike up, thanks to help from Alan. Andy just takes photos, he is no help except when it comes to tyres. Alan had a flat
