For a Tankwa experience second to none, join us for the long weekend of 21 September 2018.
For the weekend warriors, there is one event licenses available.
In exchange you have an opportunity to ride areas of the Tankwa that you will not even be able to see from the R355, you will be part of the race village and the vibe, and all you need to do is kit up and bring your bike.
Accommodation can be provided for, catering is done by the same people that manages the Calvinia Vleisfees and is good value for money.
The race is organised under the auspices of MSA, and full medical back up is provided and included in your one day event license.
This is a proper race event, professionally organised by WCOC, but it lends itself to Adventure Bike participation – I ride an XR650R, and the 450,500 to 690/701 type bike with a GPS is all you need.
You can choose between the normal race classes, but there is also the Thumper class (full distance) , and a Silver Class that is a bit shorter, and minus the technical sections (that is not very difficult – it is not an Enduro)
