So, my 2013 F8GS reached 80 000 km yesterday.  As I owned it from new, and I did the servicing myself, I know what was done to it.

Mine is a commuting tool for the most part, I have a 76km round trip per day.

Oil:  every 10 000 km.  I use whatever 15W40 diesel oil that is on special at the co-op.  No top-op oil ever needed.
Oil filters:  From 20 000 km only every 2nd oil change.
Air filter:  Uni foam filter from new.  It actually came out of a 2011 R12GSA
Bulbs:  2 dim 1 bright
Sparkplugs: 65 000 km
Chains Sprockets: 3 sets - got about 18k km on OEM set, about 25k km on DID chain and Motrix sprockets
Fuel: 4.7 l/100km
Tyres: lots, but I tend to buy used ones at a friend's shop :lol8:
Clutch: original, but getting ready to replace
Brakes:  (R)  on the 3rd read set of pads.  The Rear Rotor will need replacement soon as its at the wear limit
              (F)  original discs, but I have ordered 2 sets of pads for fitment in the next 1000 km
Suspension:  Forks:  new fork oil at 45000 km, new oil seals and oil at 75k km.  Dust seals and all bushes still original
Shock:  unopened, never serviced.  Heim joint original
Wheel Bearings: Original
Steering Bearings:  Replaced at 40 k km.  BearingMan off the shelf.
Injector Cleaning:  84 000 km
Valve Adjust: 87 400 km
Repacked the Akrapovic (for the first time ): 90 000km  Used the Delo 400 MGX.  Could not detect any differences

And that is it.  Makes for a very economical commuter:  like a Fiat Uno :snorting:
