???????????

You talking about the wine tasting ?

We are onto it
Will have a date available next week - probably late October
I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore

WILDDOG WINE TASTING EVENING

Various initiatives are being launched by the forum members to support our very own Wilddog project

The next one will be in the form of a wine tasting even and the obvious socialising that will follow

When: Saturday 25th October
Where: Pretoria East - in our very own  ;D Wilddog cellar (ok my wife is also allowed in there  :pot:)
Cost: R 150.00 per person or R 275.00 per couple
R 100.00 per person will go to the Wilddog project: PAW

Any proceeds left over will also be added to the fund

What: The evening will be hosted by Boucheron Wines.
They will supply various cultivars and have donated a case or two to be used as gifts and prizes
and will also put up a display in the cellar

We have been purchasing wine from them for years and they have built up an extensive database of our likes & dislikes. Those that have sampled the nectar in our subterranean cavern will testify to the drinkable and quality wines sourced by them

We will layout some eats and depending on the response may extend this to a braai and fun and games around the swimming pool

Please support this evening and the project as a whole
I'm hoping to get at least 30 to 40 people at this evening

I will be at the Rallye Raid for the next few days, but Red and Kilroy and Davy will keep an eye on the thread and respond where appropriate

BTW: We have accomodation for at least 8 - 10 guests (on the house), so I'm putting our out-of-town members to the challange - come check out how us vaalies also can enjoy a good carbernet or chardonnay
I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore

Hi Plottie,

Stephan and I will be there....  Please let us know if you need assistance of any kind.  I have a few free minutes every day again for a change.

Did a wine farmer respond or are they all under cover????

Can I order take-away?

Tentative yes at this stage but I'll support it financially even if I can't make it.
