Lost Camera - help me find the owner.
« on: July 23, 2018, 04:53:42 pm »
Hi there everyone,

A friend of mine picked up a Camera a little while ago and recently gave it to me to try and track down the owner. Does anyone know who this is? Would love to get his camera and memory card back to him.

I think the camera was found the in Seweweekspoort area / Rooiberg.

Can get in touch via hello (at) woodstockmoto (dot) co        (not .co.za)

Cheers
Devin

I have sent the pics to Thruxton Motorcycles near Tygervalley as they are the agents for Royal Enfield.  Maybe someone will recognise the bike or the rider.  They will revert back to me. Its a long shot...  :thumleft:

I have also made contact with Piet Venter in Pretoria who has a lot to do with the RE crowd.  He will also post on his FB groups.

I think the collective WD knowledge base can try and guess the missing letters seen on his shirt - could be a clue!  :dontknow:

(I stared at it for 10 minutes, made some guesses - and came up with nothing!)

Ok, so Tony from Thruxton just got back to me.  They know the guy.  His name is Fred, and his cell number (supplied to Devin).  He confirmed he lost his camera.  He awaits your call.  He works at a wine farm here in the Western Cape. (edit: he owns the farm as per post below)

Thank for posting.

Done.  Didn't trust that the email would work - but I have since spoken to Devin.  Thank for the heads-up.

Courtesy from Grizz: In this day and age religion is often frowned upon, but I have met some of the most amazing people from various religions over time.
From Buddhists to Sikhs, through Muslims and Christians and everything in between, there are many good people out there and if you do not allow yourself to be swayed by petulant religious opinion, the world is an awesome place with the odd idiot in between trying to make it rubbish for others.
