To my knowledge, no income protection cover is available to someone diabled while engaged in a "speed contest". That is, if you break your neck riding in an enduro or hare scramble you will not be eligible for a benefit.
This must affect hundreds of us who like a little adventure in our lives.
I doubt many members of provident funds etc know this.
