With the higher volume of bikes on the roads it is inevitable that there will be more accidents and casualties. 
When you are out on your bike, be careful. Remember, you MUST think for the other road users as well. Don't assume they see you or understand what your plan is.
If you can, go for training at accredited/respected training facilities for both on and off road. It is that little skills that can make a difference!
