From the Road to Hell via the Transkei to Eureka City
« on: September 13, 2018, 02:06:32 pm »

As the Chris Rea song goes: "This is the Road to Hell" depicted showing a group of vintage Toyota Troopies tackling this rough road. Any of you guys tackled this on adventure bikes?

In our news release today we cover some new passes in the Transkei plus we pay a visit to Eureka City and the Koffiehoogte Pass.

Its open till next week. Enjoy!

The Road to Hell has been done at least twice by WDs on bikes (that I know of). I did it a few years ago with my family in our old Cruiser 80 station wagon. Was pretty hectic!

Nope - they all made it unscathed. Took a bit of roadbuilding though...

We haven't loaded this pass onto the website yet, but I'll try and get the coordinates in the meantime.

Would you mind posting the coordinates here for the Wild Dogs members? We have not yet researched this pass.

GJ on a 690, and me on my Yamaha XT600E.  Not difficult, on a rating 0-10 I'd say about 9. >:D >:D :pot:
