Sterkte. Dit is 'n kak een die. Ek is baie skuldig daaraan om sonder kit tery veral gou-gou shop toe.

The inherent risk is just not worth it. Physical and work wise.

Did the necrosis make you feel bad /sick at any point?

Don’t know about @Dwerg , but it made the whole family sick to look at the pics....

Ek het gister, hier reg voor my rekenaar flou geword/uitgepass toe ek daai fotos sien - I kid you not!!!

Sterkte Dwerg, hoop jy herstel vinnig!

Net so afgryslik. :eek7: :pot:

Ai Dwerg, hierdie is bad man.

similar also happened to me in 2003 on a 650 dakar - plakkies, kortbroek en T-shirt - net gou iets gaan optel

right foot was quite badly injured after a down on diesel - also got infected, but I was not in hospital - I have never had anything that painful...... and I don't even take an injection at the dentist - seriously

Since, I dress a bit more appropriately, even for the shortest of rides

heal well Boet!

just as an aside, I tried many expensive prescription medications.... and in the end, this stuff worked wonders - the 3cm hole I had in my foot (and knee) shrunk visibly every day BC56 - amazing stuff! at least for me

Thanks for the warning Dwerg; just yesterday I was tempted to miss ATGATT and nip out on the bike; no more.

Heal quick and whole to ride again.

Thank you for this post.. I took pics and sent it to my son who I have endless shit with for not wearing his boots

It takes posts like this to remind us not to take shortcuts when it comes to gear selection, sometimes I need a reminder as well.

Heal up soon..  :sip:
