Wow, what a whopper of a ride report. Never mind Namaqualand calling, YOU brought Namaqualand to us all in a fabulous way. even though it's grey outside, i felt the sun on my back while going through your report. your mountain pass pics had me holding my breath, awesome! and verneukpan and...and...and...

Cool report    :thumleft:Great pics and story ,felt as if i was there :ricky:
ROUTE DIFFICULTY
1 = tar
2 = good gravel /pillian friendly
3 = interspersed with sand, mud, sand , bush / not pillian friendly
4 = lots of sand, technical riding 5 = expert only

Very nice report! The twilight zone pics brought back memories of me camping there with my dad years ago, while he was looking for new pegmatite deposits.

Youre right, SA is a great country, especially for riding bikes, great weather great variation in fantastic scenery and people.

Oh, and that bike has to be the best  ;)  ;D
