I just finished a rebuild of a road legal '94 KDX 200 on Saturday 10 Nov 2018. Took it for a ride at Rough & Tough (old Dirt n Dust) at Fisantekraal, on Sunday. It went like a dream, had to leave when I hit reserve. As I turned onto Klipheuwel Road, heading back to Durbanville, the motor imploded, rings or holed piston. Lost all compression. I pulled it behind a wall at the entrance to Sequence Logistics and got a lift home to get my trailer. when I returned about 30min later, it was gone. Stolen.
