Gasket for Cam Chain Tensioner Thickness
« on: November 25, 2018, 10:07:20 am »
Hi Guys
The gasket on my DR's cam chain tensioner started leaking oil.
I've now taken the tensioner out and taken the old gasket off.  (Thanks to youtube videos! That old gasket is a BITCH to get off.)
My question is what thickness gasket maker should I use? DieselDave gave me two pieces of gasket maker paper, one is called Flexoid and it's says 1.5mm, the other one does not have a thickness, but is a bit thinner.
Will the thickness that I use matter?
Thanks
Leon

Thanks. I decided to try my luck with suzuki. For R37 not too bad, but of course no stock. Lets see if they have it by tomorrow as promised.
