As mentioned in " Planning a ride' I am leaving on a long ride to Capetown next week . My Son ( KTM Technician)is coming to assist me with the air filter service tomorrow evening , I have read that there is a pre filter that fits into the snorkel , and was toying with the idea to fit my own low density air filter foam , cut to size
My question is , has any owner done this mod? I am a little concerned that if I run into rain the water could clog the foam and I can get stuck. Not sure how the snorkel is designed and if this should be a concern . Please advise
