Noneking takes a tumble
« on: December 17, 2018, 01:16:01 pm »
Yesterday, towards the end of a fantastic day riding with friends, I had a nasty tumble with the 1090r.

I cant remember anything of the fall and very little of the hours thereafter. @foxi was riding behind me and had to take evasive action to avoid riding into me and in the process had a fall himself.

From what they could make out, I hit a lurker at speed which kicked out the back wheel. Bike high sided me and a landed on my head leaving unconscious for a few minutes.

Bike is in fairly bad shape. My Airoh helmet cracked open, leaving me with a proper concussion. Few roasties on my hand, shoulders and lower back, but nothing too serious. Staying in hospital for observation.
