It took me about a month for the details of me being taken out by a bakkie to start coming back to me. I was unconscious for at least 10 minutes I guess.

My Shoei was badly damaged by the tar but never cracked. I will only use a Shoei after that accident.

Happy to see that your hands were not hurt much:)

Agree - that is what they are designed to do, absorb impact and something has to give. Especially these carbon kevlar types will crack like that.

Bliksem net bly jy is OK. Sondag ook tyding gekry van 'n pel se pa wat geval het oppad terug van Aurora af met die fiets. Hy het dit ongelukkig nie gemaak nie.
