Draad and I rode Bezuidenhouts pass on New year's Day....not as muddy and slippery as last year, but lots of loose rocks.... Good luck.....keep the momentum otherwise you'll find yourself stuck. :thumleft:

As usual not very many people responding to any out of the ordinary ride . Guy's  must be broke or have already ridden the area .

Do Retiefs pass at the same time.  Its on private property, google and find the oomie who owns the farm. Well worth it. Do not do in the rain. Same for Bezuidenhouts.

Add in Sandspruit Pass, that'll keep you very busy on a big bike. Never gets graded, nor is it used by vehicles much, so it's properly fubar.

If Bez has been graded, you can do it in a car ...............ask at Green Lantern or the Oomie who owns Retiefs, they should know if it's been graded.

Last time I was at Bez, it was muddy and pretty rough. But I've also been there after it's been graded, no fun at all ...................  :-\

Try get the Oomies number for Retief before you go. He may not be available to open the gate if you sommer just pitch up. I don't have his number but it's on a board at the Kaalvoet Vrou
Don't let fear hold you back ..... take it with you!

They own Dumbe cottage at the top of the pass.

Their cell phone coms are not great so send sms .

He asked for money which I paid into his account when I got home.  Well worth it.

Great stuff . My son has already committed to come with so the ride will definitely happen . Accommodation can be disscussed.
