Who uses a tracker when riding alone

Ever since my recent crash which occurred while riding with friends, my wife has been begging me to get a tracking device for use when riding alone. I ride alone more often than not. Had I been out on my own, heaven knows what would’ve happened.  I was out cold for several minutes and unable to stand up for several more.

Most of the time my wife can track me on Find Friends App on Apple, but it is only effective when I’m within area with cell signal. Given the remote areas I ride in the Lowveld , I’m quite often out of signal range.

My question is what tracking device people here use ?I’ve looked at the SPOT and Garmin Inreach mini. Both seem to work well.  Any opinions? Anything else out there?
