I use my NC for everything – commuting, wannabe Valentino Rossi, dual purpose and cruising.
Currently have a set of Pirelli MT60’s fitted.
The rear MT60 will probably give me another 1000km before it is done. So 5000km in total. Nice tire, good on all surfaces but wears quickly.
I had a Heidi K60 Scout on a Vstrom before and although it has excellent tread life it was a bit slippery on wet tarmac.
I am looking for something that will give good tread life with good traction on all surfaces. The fact that I am not a riding god means that I will need all the help I can get from a tire.
The NC750 does not have switchable ABS so I need something that can bite on those long steep downhill gravel sections, like the one going down into Oasis.
Seems like the new Mitas E07 is a good choice? How is the tread life of the E10?
Any options on the Shinko 805?
When the front MT60 is finished I will probably replace it with a TKC.
