For any of you wanting the updates on the 24 hour Le Mans - Sheridan Morais is racing for team WEPOL, currently 4th.
https://www.fimewc.com/live-timing/ - live timing

They finally finished in P4.  Excellent result for Sheridan's team.

The other team with an SA connection via Clinton Seller blew their engine while in the top 15.

Rea and the Kawa kicked some Italian arse this past weekend.  I wonder if Kawasaki found something extra, or whether it was just due to Bautista never having raced at Imola before?

Is the first round of rev limiter restrictions not in play?

Rea was seriously quick this weekend. It may also have a bit to do with there being no long straights? Sykes and BMW also vastly improved this weekend
Pass this way once!

Rev limits was imposed before the previous round which Bautista still won going away.

WSBK did their thing at Jerez this past weekend.  Pretty much the same old stuff, except that the Yamahas seemed on song.

Race 1:  Bautista, VD Mark, Rea who was later demoted one spot for a last corner clash with Lowes who crashed.  Melandri inhereted 3rd.  Lowes went on to crash out of the Superpole race and Race 2 all by himself.

Superpole Race:  Bautista, VD Mark, Melandri.  Rea was 4th after starting last on the grid as part of the penalties slapped on him the previous day.

Race 2:  VD Mark, Rea, Razdatlioglu.  Bautista surprising crashed out on lap 2.

Now, something like six crashes in a row!   ???

Rea has gone from being 60 points behind a little while ago,  to being 81 points ahead today.

Bautista needs to understand that he accumulates points when he finishes a race while still riding around the track and above 16th position, he won't dig them out of gravel traps, it isn't geocaching it's racing!.

At least there is some interesting racing to come to work out 3rd place in the championship and it was good to see Davies up at the front again.

Bautista really fell out of the bus after that phenomenal start

Jip - read an article wherein he now claims that the V4R is a very difficult bike to turn in and out - just wonder why he hadn't experienced that behavior from the Big Red, when he was racking up a range of wins during season start  ???

It is strange as he was streets ahead in the beginning. Maybe the opposition upped their game and he is now struggling to keep up the new pace.

All his crap started when they imposed the rev limit on the Ducatis, but I believe that was more an issue between his ears, than in the performance of the bike.

That's good news. He has lots of talent. A pity he could not get a better ride in moto2.
