Rain will make the Bronze Saturday better, but this makes the Silver and Gold on Friday seem really crazy.

The Roof routes are very interesting this year, one can clearly see that the organizers has spend a lot of time on the routes.
There are a lot of brand new sections in new areas and a number of oldies.
Bronze for Friday are gonna be lekker but Saturday are gonna be a tough day to remember.
Silver and especially Gold are gonna work extra hard this year.

Strongs to everybody that is gonna ride. :thumleft:

Friday Bronze does look fast and furious and will be interesting in the rain.  Getting to the DSP before 12:30 means you need to push on and cover lots of ground to be sure of making it.

Saturday is the Qualifier in reverse with a few changes, added a climb near the start, added Belekomo and down Boilers.
I'm thinking if I can get to the DSP on the Saturday before the time bar at 14:30 then I'll be fine on the way home. Have ridden all that before.

Super excited now

Following on from Striggs, yous think just pitching up with a tent should be okay, in the general vicinity?

Last year there were lots of people camping at the start / finish area. We will try and do that ourselves this year. If not possible then we are sleeping in the car

The 14:30 DSP cut off he mentioned, he ran out of fuel 100m before DSP at 14:00 but got in and out before cut off.
