Resting place ...
« on: October 08, 2008, 10:51:17 pm »
So many times we would ride through a small town and see old buildings and we wonder ...

During May 2008 I passed through Winterton and an old church caught my eye. I turned off and parked my bike. It was a lovely old stone building and under the huge old tree was an old cemetery. From the inscriptions it would appear as if it is a family graveyard.

The absolute tranquility and peace under that tree made me think a lot ...

... where would my resting place one day be ... would it be in such a tranquil spot ... may I be so lucky.

That is a very nice pick; I think one can get lost in yourself there, soul searching and so on.

Definitely a good place for me for now.

Here is a nice place to stop for a rest in Patensie!!!
There are no short cuts to anywhere worth going!
Performance is paramount, niceties only exist if it doesn't affect performance.

Don't rush it, it's helmet time you need, not a destination. Take it easy.
