Bluetooth communication devices

If this has been covered before, I do apologise.

I just wanted to hear what bluetooth headsets everyone uses and what you find irritating and exhilarating about the different devices? I'm planning to get a system where the wife and I can chat while 2up and listen to music. Any advice? Things to look out for?

Ditto although the first time I used it was on the way to CT three weeks ago. Had to do a reset as it kept telling me intercom failed. After the 10th time of it interupting the music I reset it and its been fine since.
It could have been something I did wrong in the setup so I wouldnt blame the unit. Havent had the same problem since.

I have a Sena 5 fmh thingy.   It works well, I just wish it was louder and the sound quality was better, very little bass....but I guess you can only get so much out of small, low profile speakers.

Will probably upgrade to the 10 at some point and put the 5 in my SO's helmet.


(I mainly use mine for listening to music, and taking a phone call now and then.  Haven't had the chance to pair with others and communicate really)

A few other factors to consider with Bluetooth headsets:

1.How user friendly is the unit particularly with gloves?
2. Does the manufacturer upgrade their firmware regularly- Sena are known for refining and improving their firmware on a regular basis. All upgrades are free .
3. Is online help available for the headset for example:

4.. Do you really need all the functions that some units offer?Quite often a user does not require all the bells and whistles.

I have Scala Rider Freecom 2
Chat to the misses, listen to music, sat nav instructions and phone is paired all at the same time.
very happy with it. I use it on my day to day commute listening to the radio and phone paired and the battery lasts about two weeks before charging again.
Its waterproof and glove friendly.

bought sena10 ..2 weeks ago ..very happy ..mrs very happy ..gps 4 af r agents and installed into helmets and did basic setup for zar200 xtra
my senna 10 has phone and ipod linked .. mrs has her phone linked and the senna10 also has fm radio built in
...I was very apprehensive being old school rider ..but I still hear engine, cars etc whilst listening to music..
if intercom u need to manually on device switch over to music ..ie not automatic and ofcourse vice versa (from music to intercom)
