Robin Hood of the Kalahari

Check this man out - a master of cunning, disguise and as crafty and slippery as they come. In our featured pass and news release today we schlep up to Hotazel to check out some crystals, diamonds and other items, and we get to drive a natty little pass through South Africa's largest privately owned game reserve (over 1000 sq.km !!!). Hidden in the red sands of the Kalahari is the fascinating story of one Scotty Smith. It's a must read how this blatant rogue (of noble breeding) learned to speak several languages, most surprising of which is the complicated Khoi language - This talent saved his backside on more than one occasion. He became known fondly as the Robin Hood of the Kalahari.
