So I'm developing a bit of an itch to ride the rougher stuff, but on a bike *much) smaller than my GSA. And lighter, of course. Reading through some RR's on here makes me want to go riding!
But, I have just about zero knowledge of small to medium sized bikes, say around 500CC to use for such adventures. I'm looking for something that can comfortably handle my (wrong side of)100Kg weight and a soft luggage bag.
I'm not looking for any for-sale bikes (well, not yet), but rather info on which bikes (make, model) will be best suited. Once I google these bikes I can make my mind up on which to start hunting for.
The Honda CRF450L looks like a nice starting point, albeit a bit costly. Any others?
