My 2002 Dakar with 105 000km has an erratic fast idle. Shows up more often during stop start hot conditions. The switch off- twist throttle 3x start after temp light out cure always restores normal idle mode, at least for a day or two... Is this a sensor acting up or what? I normally clean out the idle actuator in throttle body with every annual service with spray carb cleaner. Probably need to hook up with a GS911. Any ideas on permanent cure?
