This site and all of you have been so kind to me in the past.
The knowledge on here is invaluable.
Please point me in the right direction here.
I have a F650GS 2006 model Twin Spark.
I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden the bike stuttered badly. I had to pull over. Almost like it was getting fuel then nothing then getting fuel again then nothing, going no going, going not going all very quickly.
When I pulled over the Bike was still idling but when I open the throttle it sounds like it isn’t getting enough fuel.. or not enough all the time..
Switch off bike wait 2 min pull off and bike runs but very badly. Jerking and spluttering and stuttering ( not sure how else to describe it!!!)
So bike starts with no problems.
Replaced: Sparks plugs, oil, oil filter, cleaned throttle body and injectors but bike will run for about 5km then start this S%$#@ again.
Fix some electric faults on the wiring harness. Few melted wires and wires that was not supposed to be there.
Found one relay badly corroded and cleaned that off. Cleaned all electrical contacts with cleaner for electrical contacts.
None of this made a difference.
