The Merino Monster

Blood, sweat and tears is often the catalyst to creativity. We have just published a new pass which mountain bikers have dubbed the Merino Monster. The reason for the name is that the pass starts at the Merino farm north of the Theronsberg Pass near Ceres and claws its way up the 1836m high summit of the Waboomsberg gaining 705m of altitude!

We produced an informative 6 part video series on this new addition to our database (Pass #841), so to watch all the videos you will need about 30 minutes. As tough as what it is on a mountain bike, it is fairly easy on a m/cycle, but its a great ride with stunning scenery.
