Took Blitsie for his inaugural test ride yesterday morning, but after a wash, i checked fluids and found 190ml of coolant missing from the rad!!
Motor has been completely rebuilt, including all gaskets and seals
New water-pump & seals and drive gears
New Radiator cap, thermostat & seal
Fresh coolant & a 50:50 mix - it was boiling with a weaker mixture - takes 1100ml exactly.
Radiator pressure tested and it holds 1-bar perfectly.
Fan comes on when it gets too hot, warning light works, but its never got that hot, fan switches off after cooling a bit.
Coolant overflow bottle volume raises a little when it gets hot, but not past the max, drops again to the starting point when it cools down.
Now what now?
Who has a thought on what I can try?
