But, my 1290SAR has been at the Stealership for the last 3.5 months.
What wrong your's BO? Mileage?
Erroneous fault messages on my TFT screen since 1st day of ownership, which I believe was around June 2017.
'Key Fob Not In Range', when it is in the compartment next to the right of the TFT screen or in my jacket pocket.
"Front Brake Switch Failure", when my front brakes are fully operational.
"General Failure", when the bike is fully operational and runs perfect.
There are more examples but I can't remember them.
Mileage = 20,000 kilometers (+/- 1000), I dropped the bike off over 3.5 months ago, I can't remember the exact mileage.
Although I've been out of warranty for over a year, it doesn't matter, the problem arose under warranty, so this is the dealers last chance to fix my bike before I explore options under our consumer protection laws, that's why they've kept it so long, they know they have to get it right.
It wouldn't be the first time I've had to return a problematic motor vehicle (2013 Land Rover Range Rover V8 equaled the biggest POS I've ever owned) for a full refund after owning it for a few years.
