Redwolf's record has been broken!
« on: April 09, 2019, 11:27:52 am »
Redwolf is well known for his penchant to buy & sell bikes very frequently, especially XR650R's. He's been quiet lately, so let me tell you about Wazbradley. He has the disease worse than anybody I know. In the last 12 months he has gone through:

1 x DRZ 400
1 x KTM 500
1 x KTM 250 XC-F
1 x KTM 300 (he still has this one by some inexplicable miracle)
1 x TW 200
1 x BMW F800 GS
Today is picking up a 990, which probably means the 800 is on its way out.

This equates to an average of a new/different bike every 1.7 months. The BMW sets a new record though, only 3 weeks weeks of ownership before deciding to sell.

This dude needs therapy man. :lol8:

That TW 200 must have been too much power for him hence the quick ownership. ;) :lol8:

It's obviously easier to just buy a new bike every time you need to change a tyre, fix a flat or fill up the tank  :imaposer:
- you reckon that thing will pop a wheelie? We're about to find out, SLAP that pig!

A very good friend of mine has the same disease.

If memory serves, he's had 39 bikes and something like 12 cars since he's been back in CPT, which is 7 years, I think.
In the whole collection, there was only 2x Honda Transalp 650's, the rest were all different.

99% of the time I see him, he has a new bike.
History:
1) 2008 Vuka XT125 (sold)     2) 2013 Motomia Java 170 (sold)     3) 2000 Honda XRV750 Africa Twin (sold)     4) 1994 Honda CBR600 F2 (sold)     5) 2004 Honda XL650V Transalp (sold)     6) 2004 BMW R1200GS (current)

He had a good 12months, but I had close to 50 bikes in the last 10years... :lol8:

Like my mate who convinced his wife his new FN FAL was just "the old .308 I had some work done on"

It's a valid tactic...

I have a cupboard of airgun parts and used to do custom work for friends so that new stock wouldn't be recognised when it came in in pieces.
And my real guns were OK because they lived in the safe, but trying to explain a new safe every time there were overflow issues was a bit tricky.
Now my son is old enough to recognise new toys, and is quite oblivious to who is listening when he asks me about them...  ::)

Alcohol is essentially nature’s Leatt Brace – with it, you might not be able to move worth sh*t, but you can take a slam or two and be no worse for the wear.

Reminds me of when I "down-graded" from a KTM 300 (2t) to a 350 (4t), my wife said "There is something wrong with your bike, its making a terrible noise".
