In our latest news release today we take a look at the current national weather systems and introduce you to another fascinating story of a very steep pass built between the ghost town of Eureka City and the Sheba Mine in the valley below, near Barberton. It got the name The Golden Highway because the contractor apparently used gold ore to mix his concrete and it is rumoured to be the only road in SA paved in gold.
