Die struikelblokke wat Oubones moes oorkom om die rit te doen was menig en moeilik.
Dat hy alles oorkom het was vir my persoonlik n inspirasie.
Mooi man Oubones.
Craig, you must be one of the few rooinekke that's willing to speak Afrikaans to a Boertjie....it's mostly the other way around! Respect!

You remind me of Clint Eastwood.

Regarding Hennie....I did not end up riding with him that much...but observed his efforts in keeping the KLR running at camp. He did not have it easy in this respect. He completed every day though.

The KLR is not the easiest bike for these conditions. Van Zyl's camp had the deepest sand I encountered on this trip, and it caught out Ian in spectacular fashion.
Hennie's skill with the KLR in sand impressed me, even more when I saw what front tyre he was running!
Hennie's effort is testamony that life is not only about work....but that one needs to get out and experience life....and not wait for one day....when you have the money....just close your eyes and do it!
