So we decided to rather part ways today, me heading back down to tiffendell and then heading back up to JHB, didn't make sense. The others also wanted to be further south than tiffendell, to make their last day a bit shorter. They were yet to decide where they were going to overnight. We said our goodbyes and were on our way, them heading down to mohales hoek and myself heading back up to Maseru and then home to JHB. The passes back to Maseru were just as delightful, if not very chilly. Thorugh the border without any hassle and then a very uneventful tar trip home, besides sucking on fumes and luckily making it to kroonvaal with pretty much nothing in the tank (took 15.9 litres out of the 16 litre tank, could have been a long afternoon).

All in all it was great, I love riding, of any sorts, and it was even better getting to spend time with my brothers and my Dad. It was his 71st birthday yesterday. I aim to plan an annual trip as time will prove to stop him getting on the bike at some point, i hope that's many years still. Next time I will do a little more research of routes, else I fear he will deny these opportunities going forward.

I managed to clock just under 3000kms, on some of the most beautiful roads SA and Lesotho have to offer. We ascended just under 30kms, descents would have matched as well.

Take opportunity, time is short, make the most of it.

What a great trip!
I wonder where that road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. Appologies to Mr Frost
