Lyk baie cool en verstomend hoe baie werk in so frame ingaan. Ek mis my ou CJ sidecar en sal lekker werk hier in die Karoo. Kerrie on...... :ricky:

Dit is gewis en daar is nog baienom te doen as hy eers gehak is, tub, brieke, ligte, actuator, bulbar, verf, aux battery. Dis n projek wat nooit sal klaarkry nie. Uiteindelik sal ek seker ook n kar wiel aan die bike sit... want Woody sę so  :lol8:

Die kar wiel ding werk baie goed. Wil amper se jy kan nie sonder dit nie.(die tyres is ook baie goedkoper) Het nog nooit teruggekyk nie

Ek sal nog sien want dieselfde tyd as ek die adaptor maak, wil ek dink aan 'driven' wiel vir die sidecar  :biggrin:

Kyk bietjie na die:http://mobec.de/. Baie nice maar dit kos ongelukkig 'n plaas se geld met die huidige ROE. Hulle het al die mooi goed vir 'n sidecar sowel as aandrywing vir die sidecar se wiel.

Still here. Bike is getting some serious surgery and today Wolweseun and I started the tub frame. Made good progress and hope to have it welded by next weekend.

Forgot to take pics. Maybe he can post some of our nice precision bending with my new pipe bender  :biggrin:

Just imagine, needing to tackle a job on that scale when your cramped single garage has to accommodate two bikes and a car which all have to be locked in at night.

To work on a Pig you need space and plenty of it!  And that's where I'm stuffed. :(

But what a project! Congrats, G. The satisfaction factor must be immense.

Bought this set. We easily managed some complex bends with it and once figured the bends were accurate. Something I've wanted a long time.
