The handlanger and I sorted the sidecar brakes and learned three ways not to bend polycarb.
Polycarb is a bitch to bend, but the trick is to get rid of the moisture first. That is what creates the bubbles.
Need to put it in the oven at around 60° - 80° for about 2 hours. Then you can do whatever you want with it.
Correct me here, after the required 2 hours, the polycarb is soft & pliable, no?
So one could make a form from wood for example and lay it over that to get the required shape, then trim it?
Or have I missed the boat completely?
