As jy nou so 'n actuator in SA kry laat my weet dan kan ek my Toyota Hilux jack en wiper motor op myne vervang.  :laughing4:

En om die res an die vraag te antwoord… ja, en ek kan ronde pyp sweis  :biggrin:

Ek ook maar net die bokant ek sukkel met die onderkant  :biggrin:

Gerrard ek het nog nooit een gebou nie maar het daai Chang Jiang gehad vir so paar jaar. Dit is lekker pret MAAR maak net seker jy hou daarvan dit is nie almal se koppie olof en ys nie. As jy die ry kennis en ondervinding het great andersins gaan probeer dit eers uit. Die dynamics van sidecar ry is nie so maklik soos dit lyk nie. Ek sien jy stel dit as veiliger as twee wiele, hoe se die engelse.....nothing could be further from the truth  :ricky:

Nee, nie te sê veiliger as jy jaag nie. Dis die omval as ek stadig ry. Dis maar net iets wat ek wil doen, oor ek hou van dinge doen. Soos die trailer aan my 1150. Daai ding is nou bleddie gevaarlik en het my op 'n keer amper van die bike afgegooi met trial runs  :lol8:

So paar jaar terug by die EC Bash het ek probeer Humfree se 1200 sidecar ry. Dit was nou 'n ding  :lol8:

Het jy jou kar se shock met so bell crank  verstelling gebou ? Ek is van voorneme om dit te doen, maar met meganiese verstelling, want ek glo as jy hom eenmaal getrim het, dan kan jy hom lock. Jy sal basies net twee verstellings hê, met en sonder passasier en as jy eers jou merke het is verstelling gou.

Ek het gevind dat die karretjie gelaai of leeg nie veel verskil in die ry as hy reg ingestel is nie.
Hierdie adjustment is nodig as daai padmaker die camber van die pad nie links het nie maar regs....plus die wind waai van links dan moet jy sterk wees in die arms.
Bv. van Bloemfontein tot JHB is die pad amper heelpad camber na regs.  Dan wil jy die karretjie se wiel laat sak met die actuator so in die ry totdat sy lekker uitlevel....Trust my  :thumleft:


Na meer as 3 jaar se ry word die sidecar ryery net lekkerder.
My 2000 km trip na die EC Bash was 'n fees gewees en ek het lekker rowwe paaie gekry en gery....wel stadiger as 'n KTM op die grondpad maar soveel meer relaxed.

SPEC... daar is die probleem.  Jy soek een wat bietjie kan torque gee en hulle raak duur.

Lekker een Gerrard, ek hou die een met belangstelling dop.    :thumleft:

Sidekar leer ry is soos fiets leer ry, as jy hom eers het dan verloor jy hom nie, dit raak net lekkerder hoe meer jy ry, en soos Woody se, jy ry baie meer relaxed.  Kry net daai sidecar reg opgetsel om als makliker vir jou te maak.  O ja en gee die sidecar hoogte sommer van die begin af.
