Ek weet lisensies maak nie meer saak nie, maar wat van die voertuig se lesensie. Enige snags?

Dit maak saak vir versekering as iets verkeerd gaan. Daar is 'n proses. Die fiets moet herregistreer word vir fiets met sidecar. Assesment letter van treiler bouer of soortgelyk, roadworthy ens. Net schlep, maar nie probleem nie. Daai deel is klaar in plek en my mense het dit reeds gesort

Today's work. Making and fitting the lugs for the bike stabilizer joints. Now we start with the 10% that takes 90% of the time. It requires painstaking precision and takes my cut and paste method to new levels

Lower stabilizer joints on the sidecar frame done.

Stage one complete. Sidecar frame fixed to the bike. Pleased with it so far, despite a few miss measurements which worked out well in the end... by accident or design.

Tomorrow night it goes on the wheels to test the suspension and send to Superfoxi for a fix up. All the framework then gets stripped for some small finishes, gussets and some welds etc. The 1150 will then also be sent away for a complete drive train rebuild.

Still lots to do. When it all comes back the sidecar goes together for test riding and to build the tub. Then only is it strip down and paint.

Lets build a sidecar they said.....
