Daai afronding is altyd my doodsteek, dit maak of breek die storie, sterkte.   :thumleft:

Heeldag spandeer om myself te leer om die shrinker te gebruik. En panel beating. En trools maak vir panel beating. En agt ure later is ons hier. Nie sleg nie. Behoort nou vinniger te gaan. Daai eerste een was 'n komplekse, 3-D buig.

Selfde. Hier is waar ek vou, want ek wil klaarkry en ry. Die trim is egter nie net daar vir afronding nie, maar ook versteking. Dit word ge-bond met Sikaflex en ge-rivet

Man ek is beindruk, sit lyk regtig netjies.....ek is baie lief vir staalwerk.
My oorle oom Hans het outydse motors vir kliente gerestoreer en soms self n fender gemaak ens.
Goed hy was n ketelmaker van beroep, maar dis darm mooi as n man metaal kan werk.

My day went real shitty with the bending of the trim did not going as planned. Got a bit of anxiety and saw my plan of getting the tub on the car by Sunday and hooking the electrics, go down the tubes.

Then we decided to for now weld up all the seams and Craig got stuck into it tonight. All done and as far as getting the tub on the bike I'm now three days ahead of where I wanted to be on Thursday. All that's left is welding the bracket for the screen and the boot lid.

En dis waar ons is. 97.5% daar. Donderdag en Vrydag finish en verf, naweek installeer en elektrieks doen.

Not sure how well the colour shows off. Granite grey on top. Will get black on the sides. Took a lot of time and effort to build the battered WWII look into it  :lol8:

Daars nie tyd nie en ek is nie lus vir die moeite nie. Hy moet nou net op die bike kom en funksioneel wees. Vlg jaar worry ons oor cosmetics.
