2019 Isle of Man Classic TT®

Dates: Sun, 18 Aug 2019 – Sat, 31 Aug 2019

Seems then that the Classic TT takes place during the Manx Grand Prix week, traditionally during Aug/Sept, for the strictly amateur riders. Also in conjunction with the Manx two day trial, a foot up event, but not in a stadium, out there in the natural rocks and river beds. I went over for that week once, it was a good jol.

As for practice, they have a practice week prior to the race week. Roads are closed for a short period in the very early hours, and again in the afternoons. At least that's the way it used to happen. Don't know about these days. We even used to get up half past fucksakes to go and watch practice and mix with the complaining, shivering riders in the paddock afterwards.
Succumb not to the erosion of those born of unconsecrated union.

"Two Wheels, an engine and a place to sit." What more do you need?

Still Here - amazed and lucky.
