Okes looking for Budget exhausts....
« on: May 17, 2019, 12:27:09 pm »
....the new Raceworx has a stack of 4 or 5 stock superduke pipes lying around.  You could probably get away with negotiating around R1000 for a cool sounding pipe.

Don't look to shabby either:

You can chat to Leith there, he knows about em.

You should've offered to just trade them your stock pipe.
Were the 1290 SA pipes just a lot bigger and bulkier?

If you had a psychic midget who killed someone, you would have a small medium at large.

All the stock adventure pipes are the same huge suitcase looking jobs

I've been running a stock SD pipe for ages.  Just saw they had a bunch and are open to getting rid of them. Taken off brand new bikes when okes buy them and want akras etc.

Yours looks good now.
Yeah Im THAT guy hey, I have a stock OEM 701 pipe if anyone is interested, I fitted an Akra about a week after getting the bike.

They're ugly and weigh a ton, but your SD pipe looks not too shabby on your bike.

It's MUCH smaller than the stock suitcase

They also sound great on the Adventures. The SD's have that big cat/silencer box under the bike so the stock pipe sounds pretty tame. But the ADV's don't have that so it sounds perfect to me.  Kinda like a big dirtbike.

Ok, similar to my Wings then - your option is a real bargain and looks nice - if somebody would just make a bracket for it, I'd seriously consider it as an extra option to swop around for variety

Thats a cool idea. I have a stock 1190 pipe in the for sale section should someone want to gut it.

For my bikes I just stuck with Barker down in Cape Town

Go to Engineering shop and get one made up like I did.
The brackets you guys fabricate in your garage ruins the pipe mod you do >:D

Clearly your engineers never spoke to the KTM Designers before laser cutting the 1290 into that bracket.
The least they could've done was get the right Font first. Geez!

Ha ha.
